BBQ

In this time, I try to write my blog in English so that people who can't read and understand Japanese can do.
Of course, all you can do is just reading: you must not correct my (many?) mistakes in English!

In this afternoon, I had a BBQ with some members of Political Science Program and thier friends (including their babies) at a lakeside of Lake Ginninderra in Belconnen which is the suburb located in north area of Canberra.
In Australia, sometimes we can find the grills for BBQ setted in a park in order to cook foods. So we used them and fried (cooked) big Austoralian beef steaks and other foods, though it doesen't mean that (big) Australian people always eat big steaks in every day dinner.

In BBQ, it seems that each brings something to eat or drink. So varieties of salad brought by members were setted with grilled beaf, chicken and onion.

All foods were delicious.
But it was hard job for us to chase away flies gathering on foods, because there were many flies in Australia. I don't know why there are such many flies. Could you tell me why!
Anyway, thanks to their inviting me, I had pleasant time. And I will have to bring something to eat or drink in next time (if I have).
