本日夕方は、New Politics Seminar。
相変わらず、よく聞き取れないのだけど、その中でも思ったことは次の二つ。
一つは、オーストラリアでは、環境とか災害政策を福祉国家との関係で議論するという流れがあるのかなということ。 以前のキャッスルスの報告も、そういう話だったので。
もう一つは、ミニ・パブリックスにおける討論と利益集団との関係。これは、もしかしたら今後関わることになるかもしれないプロジェクトのテーマの一つでもあるような気が。
ところで、本日の隠れた収穫（？）は、もういないのかなと思っていた、ロートシュタイン氏がまだ滞在していることがわかったこと。僕の研究室が、政治学関係のフロアとちょっと離れているので、なかなかわからないのが残念。
Today, I joined New Political Seminar.
Though I couldn't catch a presentation sufficiently, there are two points I have.
One is that in Australia there may be a perspective in which environment and/or disaster policies are investigated with the (dis)connection with social welfare. It seems that Castles's presentation I previously heard also had such interest.
Second is how should we think about the relationship between 'mini-publics' (or civic deliberations in retatively small fora) and interest groups. It seems that this will be able to become one of important topics in a project, if it will be adapted (of course I don't know whether it will be adapted or not).
