７月４日（土）に以下の要領で、The International Workshop: Defining Deliberative and Non-deliberative in Contemporary Democratic Theory（現代民主主義理論における熟議的なものと非熟議的なものを定義する）を開催します。現在、名古屋大学に客員教員として来ていただいている、セレン・エルカン（Selen Ercan）さん（キャンベラ大学）を囲む形で行うものです。エルカンさんは、ジョン・ドライゼク（John S. Dryzek)の下でオーストラリア国立大学で学位を取得し、現在はキャンベラ大学のガバナンスと政策分析研究所／熟議民主主義とグローバル・ガバナンスセンターで、ドライゼクと共に、熟議民主主義の研究を行っています。
英語中心で行われるワークショップですが、どなたでもご参加できます。
