読書会

The Oxford handbook of Comparative Politicsを読む読書会。これが最終回。いろいろ勉強になっていたので、ちょっと残念だけど。
なお、今回の一つの論文（Hacker論文）は、The Oxford Handbook of Political Institutionから。

ハッカーは、「政策ドリフト」で有名な人だけれど、ウィキによるとほぼ同い年（71年生）。で、最初の著作（The Road to Nowhere）が1997年に刊行されている（下記の書誌情報では1996年になってる）（！？）。今回の論文を読んでいて、「ドリフト」というのは、「でもこういうこともあるのでは？」という現象に、うまく概念を当てることによって、なかなか見えないその現象を浮かび上がらせるものだよねえと、ちょっと感心した次第。
Streeck and Thelen編著に所収の論文以外、読んでいないけれど（と言っても、この論文も相当な斜め読みだ。またそのうち……）、いくつか著作を紹介、ポール・ピアソンとの共著も、２冊あったんですね……ていうか、この人、本書き過ぎでしょう（！？）。
う〜む、恐るべし。
